About Registration

Top  Previous  Next

AdeptSQL Diff is a commercial software product. If you are going to work with it, you must purchase a license. You can find detailed information about the types of licenses and prices at:

http://www.adeptsql.com/purchase.htm

In the trial mode, the program expires in 30 days or after 50 launches, whichever takes longer. That means if you try the program today, then forget about it for a month, you will still have 49 launches left when you get around to it again; but if you use it regularly, you'll have just one month to make your mind about buying this tool.

To see the registration dialog in the trial mode, choose the following menu command:

"Help/Register..."

You will need to use the dialog twice:

· First, to provide you with a link to the online ordering page for AdeptSQL Diff. The only thing you normally need to do is to click on the "buy a license" link. The Adept SQL Tools online order page will open in your default Web browser. A "personal" license may require a unique hardware ID to which your copy of AdeptSQL Diff will be tied. This ID will be automatically transferred to the page. In case you ever need the ID in some other context, there are also [Copy] (to the clipboard) and [EMail] (prepare a message to AdeptSQL Tools support address) buttons.
· After the registration, to enter the activation key. NOTE that an activation key looks like a very long string of random characters. You should not try to type it in manually, just copy & paste it from the confirmation message you'll have received after purchasing a license.
